I doubt anyone is still paying attention here, but I figure it's only fair I explain some things.
My partner is currently homeless, more or less, so basically waiting for them to get a proper home and computer back.
At that point, seeing as we have the scripts all ready, it shouldn't be too hard to get back to work.
P.S. I'm doing fine, if anyone cares, and have been here the whole time. But to confirm, this has not been forgotten or abandoned or anything. Just . . . held back by unforeseen circumstances (namely, my partner becoming a hobo).
Feel free to make fun of my partner's homeless status.
So, some good news. My partner's situation is beginning to look up, so hopefully we can resume soon.
Plenty of scripts ready to go, where we finally delve into the fact that nobody seems to know Guy's real name (I mean did you really think his name was Guy Fox?).
So my situation is much improved now, and we have officially started making more comics. I already have the script for 81 and am working on putting it into comic form, just taking a little break at the moment.
The thing is, it's going to take a while to get back into the swing of making them as high quality as they were before the hiatus, after not making them for two years. Add to that that we wanna make a buffer and it might be a bit of time before we start releasing. Give us a couple of weeks or so though, and we should have this thing started going again.
Not necessarily, but I'd have to get the stuff off of the hard drive from my laptop which is not feasible atm. It is currently in a state of indefinite hiatus.
Geist Panik, Brain Dead, HSotDnD, and a good twenty or so other zombie, ghoul, or goblin-based comics I've read have all seemed to come to a sudden halt.
But I think this one, at least, shall get reanimated soon.
I know it's probably too late, but I hope you can keep going. This has been an unexpectedly enjoyable read and decently well-done comic. Reading this comic has actually made me interested in seeing the show even though I didn't know it existed before reading this comic. So, on the off-chance you still feel like continuing, please do! This is fun!
I know it seems like this has been forgotten, but I'm still here and waiting.
The only reason we stopped was because my partner Jadelynn doesn't have proper access to a computer, being homeless and all. Thanks to the job situation in Jade's state, we've had a lot of setbacks, but once they finally get their life in order the comic will certainly continue. Most likely within about a year or so is the plan.
It's good to hear that you're not giving up. As for your partner I can only pray that you find a good job and get your life in order so that both of you are happy.
Pretty much the only way this comic won't be continued is if one of us (most likely Jade) dies. For now, I'll still be here (unlike Jade, I come from money and make plenty of my own, so not much to keep me away).
This comic is quite fun to write, since it's where I can practice my hand at pure comedy rather than the more serious stories I write.
...because they haven't disabled them? That's how ComicFury works by default. They're only disabled if the author(s) specifically set them that way, which is generally unnecessary unless there's a persistent troll afoot.
Might be a problem with an extension like ad-block. or perhaps try to open it in another browser.
It says she got on July 1st.
But I think this one, at least, shall get reanimated soon.
Still patiently waiting on HSotDnD's return.
Hope things are better. Good luck.
