So, the mangaka of Highschool of the Dead, is Dead. Being the writer of this comic and a diagnostically 'confirmed' sociopath, I feel obligated to make a joke about it, but cannot seem to think of a good enough one at this time. The kind that truly honors their memory.

It will come to me. Have no fear.

Oh and sorry about the abrupt hiatus (Dear God in heaven how many times have we said that?). We should be back up and running by next Monday at the latest.

Sorry folks, I've had the script for a couple of days now, I think, but it's been a weird couple of days for me. I've got the comic started and should have it out on Wednesday at the latest, but I'll try to have it out Tuesday.

I hope you feel better.

I'm willing to wait a long, long time for more. (After the source material, I'm used to it...) =p

. . . yes, we're totally parodying the long hiatuses the manga goes on. Why no we're not justifying them after the fact why do you ask?

...Aww. I just got the word from Wikipedia...

No more High School of the Dead, for the worst reason. =/

The mangaka died?

The author, actually. https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2017-03-26/high-school-of-the-dead-manga-creator-daisuke-sato-passes-away-at-52/.113968

Dangit. It was the writing that I loved it for. The fanservice and gun porn were just nice side bennies to a story about a bunch of kids who were forced to become adults, while surrounded by adults who insist on treating them as kids.
